Cornerstone Christian Academy

Mrs. Rebecca Sible teaches our K-1st grade students. Becky spent her childhood years in Hart, Michigan. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. From there she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Becky attributes her classroom management skills from years of on the job training as a substitute teacher. She is passionate about teaching lesson objectives and developing a love for reading in every student.

Mrs. Fay Eckert received her Bachelor of Arts with a minor in English from Grand Rapids Baptist College in 1985. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Calvin College, also. At Saginaw Valley State College she worked toward receiving a Continuing Teacher Certification in 1989. Fay has taught for over 6 years at NCBA (now CCA). She also has 23 years of experience in homeschooling her own children, K-12th grade. We welcomed her back to CCA in the Fall of '23 to teach the 2nd and 3rd grade class.

Mrs. Lois Eckert has over 20 years of experience in teaching K through 12th grades. She has used Bob Jones and abeka curriculum as she home schooled her own 10 children. It is clearly evident that with her years of experience, love of children and teaching, she is well qualified for the 4th-5th grade teaching position. Deb took a break from school and taught 1st-2nd grade missionary kids in Ecuador for 2 years. In the Fall of '99 she became NCBA's (now CCA) Jr. High teacher and has been faithful to that position  ever since.

Mrs. Deb Deuling taught preschoolers in Hawaii for 5 years before realizing her calling was to be a full-time teacher. She then attended Lancaster Bible College where she earned her teaching degree. In the Fall of '88 she began her 9 years of K-1st grade teaching at Newaygo County Baptist Academy.

Mrs. Vicki Fuller brings over 24 years of teaching experience to CCA. She taught at the Tippecanoe Valley Corporation in Indiana for 3 years. After moving back to her hometown, she substitute taught in the public school system for 2 years. Then, she found her love of Christian Education, where she has taught  off and on for over 18 years. She now serves as CCA's Administrator.

Mrs. Donna Knuver has taught Art classes at CCA for over 20 years.  Through the years, she has also taught at the Arts Place in Fremont. Each year her students compete in the Newaygo County Art Competition where a high percent of those students receive awards.
